A-List Weekend Reading

Real talk: we've been working on this kitchen for a while, and I can't seem to make a full blog post because we are THIS close, but not done. Things we have left: trim, door handles, vent hood...and more expensive things we won't get to for a while: flooring (You can't see the plywood patch from removing a wall in this photo.) and new, more appropriately sized fridge.

I got a vintage German beer table for my backyard...and I am SO excited. Cheers!

Hi! It's been a weird month with me out of town for a week visiting my folks, then Palmer out of town visiting the beach (Don't tell my parents, but....I'd prefer Palmer's trip, hehe.). We'll be back to (our) normal next week. Yay!

Meanwhile, there is still so much beauty on the internet, and we want to share what we've found with you.

Y'all, my mind is on cozy quilts perfect for summer nights or winter layering. I am IN LOVE with this #plantsonfabric blanket and this simple heirloom quilt.

Per Emily Netz's recommendation and my constant longing for our California vacation home from last summer, I picked up The Surf Shack Book for some inspiration.

California boho means rattan is on the mega-rise. Don't fight it. Love it. Love it so hard.

Can we ever get enough of looking at people's houses? No. And so, you can find a couple of great homes to peruse here and here.

Some inventive outdoor ideas for you...she sheds? Yes please. Also, this DIY outdoor shower is beautiful and functional, but somehow hilarious to me. I don't think my neighbors would appreciate us making one. If it were super secluded, maybe it'd be wonderful?

The dreamy dreamiest giant succulents. Be sure to scroll down through this yard to see how HUGE those succulents are! I want them to hug me gently.

We wish you a merry weekend!

Um, it's here! The biggest Gus* sale of the year!

We live to rearrange furniture and knick knacks. If you have them, we want to touch them and put them together beautifully in your home.
