A-List Weekend Reading

We both attended the House Sparrow Fine Nesting natural dye workshop this past weekend, AND IT WAS AMAZING. Painting with nature and our hearts. You should try one of this fine lady's workshops.

I'm sitting at Foolish Things Coffee this morning, surfing the internet, like a boss, finding interior design content that catches my breath for you. It's been a good week. Palmer and I met this week; I held Jack almost a sufficient amount (Can you ever hold a ginger baby enough?); Palmer is on Saturday duty this weekend. Last night, my husband painted a rectangle of plywood in our kitchen (where we took a wall out and haven't allotted funds for all new flooring yet) pink like our living room walls. It needs a top coat, but I am feeling happy that our kitchen is nearing completion. It's been a minute (two years?). It's true that life comes in seasons–sometimes you are ready to do house projects, other times you are ready to sit on a sofa. Fingers crossed this forward momentum continues. Perhaps this very minute is your season for looking at some pretty decorating pictures...just click below.

Our bud Ashley Whiteside's pink cube house ON DESIGN SPONGE! Love her decorating style!

I LOVE the way most the artwork is all hung in a line.

Musing on building a house after it's done. And a tour of this house, a farmhouse.

A lot of wood and a lot of light. Done so right.

Palmer isn't the only one who's boldly searched for the perfect rug. This gal has too.

Can you spot the brass elephants so lovingly pressing trunks? This home has a lot of lovely color combos and pillows and plants.

Super useful for those that love rainbows–how to plant a rainbow container garden.

"Organic Modern Living"– We like the sound (and look) of this!

This home tour is really calming, but also energizing. Is it the use of pattern that feels exciting?

Earthy and moody! Reminds me of this home a bit; what do you think?

How to make a new house look old. I agree with most of these.
